What is a weird or fun fact about yourself?
Aside from having my dolls as a hobby I absolutely love cars. I own a black 1998 Firebird Trans am with 35k original miles on it. His name is Morpheus. I love getting dirty and working on him myself. I have even taken his engine half apart and fixed it myself amongst many other projects and upgrades under the hood.

What is the most interesting species of animal you’ve made up? And tell us a little about it.
Most people would say my sea foxes as that’s by far my most requested breed of creature ever. Personally I think my most interesting type of creatures are my owl/Griffin/ewok mix creatures. They are basically garden gnomes with the face of an owl, ears of a rodent, and bodies like an ewok. I find them most interesting because of the amount of personality I can put into them. They each wear outfits and have accessories so they each really are like different people.

What is something you wish you would have known before you started creating?
I wish I new how to make and pour molds. I still don’t to this day. Many times I create a creature and wish I could make a mold of it.

What do you do to get into your creative zone?
To be honest I’m in it every day multiple times a day. It’s my “happy place”. It’s what I think about when I’m stressed, frustrated, tired, or lonely throughout the day. Even when I’m just simply happy. I’m a bit obsessed… Then once 8pm shows up and my kids are off to bed, I work on all the thoughts that I had during the day.

What was the first thing you made?
If we are referring to the first doll, it was a Drogon shoulder puppet/doll that I made with my dad. I still have him to this day to wear to the renaissance fair when I dress up as kahleesee from game of thrones.

If your creative work were edible, what would it taste like?
Probably chicken since that’s what everything tastes like.

Side note: if you’d like to find something truly unique consider one of my pieces. They are all 100% handmade one of a kind creatures as I don’t use molds.
