Welcome to the Fantasy Creature Doll Club featured artist of the month article! We have some incredible talent and wonderful people in our club. How about we get to know a bit about each other? The following is our May 2018 interview. Enjoy!

How would you like to be remembered? I’ve never been super into “leaving a legacy”, but I think it’d be super awesome for my art to make an impact on someone. Wether it’s just a doll sitting in someones collections, or an art installation in a city!
What is the most interesting species of animal you’ve made up? And tell us a little about it. I’ve been drawing way before I’ve been making art dolls, so making species isn’t new. I’m currently trying to find my “signature” doll too make – so I have many cool things in the works! My go too things are animals crossed with mythical creatures!
What is something you wish you would have known before you started creating? Honestly I put a lot of research into this before I started, as I’ve been wanting to try it for years now (but I’ve never really had the time/money!) I wish I put a bit more time in fiding a style of feet I like.
What do you do to get into your creative zone? Turn up the tuneage! I also have to make sure my ferret is asleep, he likes to help in the worst ways. (Claw marks in a finished sculpt! Yikes!)
If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why? I’d be a fox, hands down. I love the little things, and I think they match me quite well. Personality wise, plus I have red hair!
What is a weird fact about yourself? I wanted to be a vet when I was younger, but spent the “take your child to work day” with one. It’s just not for me, so now I’m a concept artist! Such a big change.
